Gideon Oyiadzo Jingles/Go Jingles for short is a Project Manager certified by the Graduate Training Institute and an IATA/UFTAA Travel Agent, a Youth Coach, TV/Radio Presenter and MC who started his career in 1997 at Vibe Fm as a presenter of Young Vibes and Teenspeak, a Receptionist and Librarian. In 1998 he worked as a Sales Representative of Radio and TV Guide, Ceejay Printing Services and Ocsons Printing Services. By 1999, moving through the ranks as a marketer and printing consultant he became the Managing Editor of Radio and TV Times
For a period of over 18 years, GO Jingles sustained these youth programs with annual shows at the National Theatre and the Accra International Conference Centre to help further his youth mentorship and coaching programs for Senior Secondary School (SSS) graduates as they were known then and Senior High School (SHS) graduates as they are known today. Through these programs, Gideon Oyiadzo Jingles introduced CSR Initiatives to enable SHS Graduates to contribute their quota to national development. He further led advocacy to establish an SHS Graduate Volunteer Programs as well as the establishment of checks and balances in our trade liberation policy especially the liberalization of the airwaves to help protect children up to five years from the excesses of the media.
GO Jingles’ work as a Youth Coach and Events Organiser earned him recognition at the Ministry of Girl Child Education to be invited to serve as coordinator on the Hydea Broadbent HIV/AIDS Awareness Campaign in Ghana, He was also invited by GBC to help develop a youth program for GTV which came to be known as Next Level of which he was made the presenter. Further, GO Jingles was given annual slots for his youth ambassadors and excelling contestants on the Canada World Youth Program by SYTO and the Canadian High Commission. He also served as supervisor on the Canada World Youth Program in Moncton, New Brunswick, Canada.
In 2006, GO Jingles was appointed as the Coordinator of the Gillet World Cup Floats in Accra, Tema and Kumasi and the success was resounding. As project manager, GO Jingles in 2012 developed the concept for F14 Concert with Kwabena Kwabena at the Accra International Conference Centre and run same for four years. It was a flagship program for Valentine’s Day until the C19 pandemic. In 2014 and 2015, GO Jingles as Project Manager, helped to design and implement a peer review process (a novelty) which was the foundation and the success of Television Awards Ghana, an industry event that brought all stakeholders together to uphold standards in television broadcasting, it was at a time when the drafting of the broadcasting bill was ongoing. The programs were held at the Accra International Conference Centre and National Theatre.
In 2015, GO Jingles was also appointed as Project Manager for the Ghana Entrepreneurship Development Foundation to help develop proposals for a radio, television and online support structure for a partnership with the National Entrepreneurship and Innovation Program in Ghana. GO Jingles also served as Project Manager for the Ghana Jamaica Homecoming Project, VIP@20 project and MC for some of government the state functions held at the La Palm Royal Beach Hotel by officials at the seat of government - Jubilee House. Currently, Gideon Oyiadzo Jingles is the CEO for Schoolmate Investments, Administrator at Idrowhyt Company Limited) and Project Manager for Cabic Promotions and Management - a boxing syndicate. GO Jingles is also and advocate for the establishment of a Highlife Veterans Welfare Foundation and also director for Sikakokoo Travel Club, responsible for Ghana and Africa.
